The seventh edition of the Insurers for Society 2021 contest featured 11 impactful projects by insurance companies, each bringing meaningful contributions to society. With this forward-looking focus on the public good, the insurance community celebrated its professional holiday.
The Insurers for Society contest is traditionally organized by the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ) and the Bulgarian Association of Insurance Brokers. In 2021, two more industry associations joined as co-organizers: the Association of Insurance Brokers in Bulgaria and the United Insurance Brokers. The winners are selected by vote among insurance companies and insurance brokers who are members of the organizing associations.
The insurance community awarded first place to the initiative of DZI – “The International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria Returns with the Support of DZI.”
Second place in the contest was awarded to the initiative of Generali Insurance AD – The Human Safety Net.
Third place was awarded to the project by UNIQA – “Green Initiatives, Telemedicine and Free Doctor Consultations by UNIQA.”
