By decision of 9 June 2026, the Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) withdrew the licence of DallBogg: Life and Health Insurance Company AD to carry out insurance business. The company is not, and has never been, a member of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ).
The withdrawal of the licence does not affect the validity of insurance contracts already concluded with the company. All insurance policies issued by the insurer remain valid and continue to provide cover for the insured risks until the expiry of the policy term. Insurance contracts will terminate by operation of law only after the decision to withdraw the licence becomes final and insolvency proceedings are opened against the company. Until that time, the insurer remains entitled to collect insurance premiums, receive, assess and settle insurance claims, and pay any compensation due under its policies.
Motor Third Party Liability (MTPL) insurance policies also remain valid and continue to provide insurance cover. Compensation payable under MTPL insurance is guaranteed by the Bulgarian Guarantee Fund, which becomes responsible for claims that the insurer is unable to pay following the withdrawal of its licence. This ensures that all persons with valid claims against the insurer will receive the compensation to which they are entitled.
