On 12 December 2024, a formal graduation ceremony was held at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) for the master’s graduates from the programs “Human Resource Economics” and “Insurance and Social Policy”, part of the Department of Human Resources and Social Protection.
A special guest at the ceremony was Nikolay Stanchev, Chair of the Management Board of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ), Chair of the Board and CEO of Generali Insurance AD, and an alumnus of the very same department at UNWE.

“I wish you to reach many summits! And when you reach one, don’t stop — find the strength and inspiration to set even greater goals. Once you achieve them, set new ones. Be ambitious, be adaptable, because the world is constantly changing. Be efficient and innovative to remain competitive on the market — and don’t forget something very important: enjoy your work and celebrate your successes, because that’s the fuel for even greater achievements.”
The ceremony symbolized not only the academic accomplishments of the graduates but also the strong connection between higher education and the business community, which the Association of Bulgarian Insurers actively supports.
