The thematic children's drawing contest titled “No Mistakes on the Road” was held between October 21 and November 15, 2024. The initiative was jointly organized by the General Directorate “National Police” of the Ministry of Interior, the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ), and the Guarantee Fund. Through this contest, the organizers expanded and further developed the popular “No Mistakes on the Road” initiative, while Bulgaria joined the 4th edition of the European initiative “Together for Children’s Road Safety”. This European effort brings together public authorities and road safety organizations, insurance associations, and educational institutions from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
The contest offers children from across the country the opportunity to become “co-creators” of ABZ’s well-known children’s road safety quiz “No Mistakes on the Road”, by illustrating correct and incorrect road situations in their drawings.
All submitted artworks will be featured in a specially created online gallery on the official website of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers. The awarded drawings will receive prizes and may be used in the next edition of the educational quiz. The interest in the contest far exceeded the organizers’ expectations, and the results will be announced soon.
Participants in the “No Mistakes on the Road” children’s drawing contest can download their personalized certificate of participation through a dedicated section on the ABZ website.
