At a formal ceremony held on 15 December 2023, the master’s graduates from the "Human Resource Economics" and "Insurance and Social Work" programmes at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) received their diplomas. Alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Valeri Apostolov, Head of the Department of Human Resources and Social Protection, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihail Musov, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation, the event was attended by Veselin Angelov, Management Board Member of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ).
The ceremony was also attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Galina Dimitrova, Scientific Secretary of the Department, Mr. Iliyan Chabukliyski, Chair of the Student Council, as well as lecturers from the Department: Prof. Dr. Miroslava Peycheva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ralitsa Pandurska, and Chief Assistant Prof. Dr. Desislava Koleva-Stefanova.
Veselin Angelov addressed the newly graduated students with the words: "This is a truly special occasion and a step forward in your professional careers. From here on, many good moments await you. This marks the end of your academic journey and the beginning of your professional development, and I am confident that you will succeed, because UNWE has a strong tradition in education. One of the proofs is the large number of professionals working in the field of insurance who graduated from this university."
The participation of Veselin Angelov as a representative of ABZ in the graduation ceremony is part of the ongoing cooperation between the association and UNWE, which began with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on 5 December 2023.
