Nearly 100,000 Participants in the Fourth Edition of the Game-Test “No Mistakes on the Road”

The fourth edition of the educational game-test “No Mistakes on the Road”, organised by the Association of Bulgarian Insurers (ABZ) and the General Directorate “National Police” – Ministry of Interior, was held with exceptionally high interest and a record educational reach.

A total of 99,629 participants took part in the initiative, which was conducted in the period 1–12 December 2025—a number comparable to the total number of participants in the previous three editions combined. More than 92% of the participants in the current game-test were reached through organised participation by schools, kindergartens, and other educational structures, which clearly confirms the strong public and educational impact of the initiative.

With the four editions held so far, the “No Mistakes on the Road” initiative has reached nearly 200,000 children since its launch, ranking it among the largest-scale and most consistent educational campaigns in the field of road safety in Bulgaria. However, the effect of ABZ’s initiative extends far beyond these figures, as the “No Mistakes on the Road” test is freely accessible on the ABZ website and is actively used by children’s educational institutions as part of their road safety activities.

The format of the “No Mistakes on the Road” test combines learning through play, visual perception, and practical examples from the real road environment. Through illustrations, it presents 10 common road situations, with the aim for children to identify which situations are “incorrect” and which are correct. Each answer includes a brief educational explanation.

One of the distinguishing features of the fourth edition of the game-test is that children’s drawings, received as part of ABZ’s national competition “No Mistakes on the Road 2024”, were used as illustrations of the road situations in the test. In this way, children became active “co-authors” of the educational content. It is also indicative that the children’s drawing competition recorded record interest, with more than 10,000 artworks submitted. All of them are presented in a Europe-unique online gallery on the ABZ website.

The high level of interest in the fourth edition once again confirms the public significance and long-term impact of the “No Mistakes on the Road” initiative. The campaign is part of the sustainable strategic commitment of the Association of Bulgarian Insurers to road safety and prevention through education, offering high-quality, accessible, and child-oriented content with a real public contribution.
